Si el clima no coopera, la ceremonia se trasladará al gimnasio en memoria de Richard Joseph Kloeppel (Gimnasio BHS). Enviaremos un aviso a nuestra comunidad antes de la ceremonia si es necesario que se traslade al gimnasio. Dear BPS Families and Students, Please join us this evening to celebrate the BHS graduating Class of 2024. The commencement ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the BHS football stadium. If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will be moved to the Richard Joseph Kloeppel memorial gymnasium (BHS Gym). We will send a notice to our community prior to the ceremony if it is moved into the gym. Thank you, and we look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors with you.

Good morning, Placitas community- As we enter the final weeks of the school year, Jennifer Trujillo will step in to lead the remainder of the year at Placitas Elementary. It is important, during this emotional time, that leadership is familiar with the school and the community, and Ms. Trujillo is well-suited to do this. Ms. Trujillo has been with BPS for over 22 years, spending many years as a 1st grade teacher before becoming a reading coach. She has spent the last several years as the district's testing coordinator, spending much time in Placitas supporting administrators and teachers with the district's testing platforms. As THE DISTRICT supported Placitas staff in recovering from last week's tragic event, Ms. Trujillo has been a central figure in directing activities and supports to all involved. Taking on a leadership role in such a situation is never easy, but Ms. Trujillo has already demonstrated strength, empathy, and compassion in leading the school through this difficult time. In our efforts to ensure the students and staff of Placitas Elementary are equipped to finish this school year strong, I ask that the entire Placitas community welcome Ms. Trujillo to this role.
