The SPARK summer started Monday, July 8, 2024, at Bernalillo High School for grades 9-12. Students are broken up into two teams to build two electric Go Karts. During the build students are learning about the purpose, function, and safety of electric vehicles components and systems.
Additionally, students are picking up Portrait of a Graduate competencies for success such as how to be problem solvers and critical thinkers, effective communicators, and self-directed navigators. More information on the Bernalillo Public Schools Portrait of Graduate initiative will be discussed in each newsletter installment. Stay tuned!
