During the summer, the district performed PowerSchool maintenance where we discovered a large number of parent and student portal accounts were either not being used, or the contact information was no longer current.
In our efforts to have current and accurate contact information in our student information system, we found it was beneficial to disable all portal accounts from prior school years.
If you or your students would like a new PowerSchool
portal account, please contact your student's school registrar for your Access ID and password.
We are sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience and hope you have a great school year.

BPS would like to invite all incoming BMS 6th grade students and incoming BHS Freshmen to attend their jumpstart day.
BHS Freshmen jumpstart day - August 15, 2022 8:30 am to 11:00 am
BMS 6th grade jumpstart day - August 16, 2022 7:30 am to 2:30 pm
All BMS students will return August 17th at 7:30am for our first day of school. We have changed our student drop-off/pick-up location. Students will now be dropped off and picked up on the north side of campus. The new drop-off/pick-up lane can be accessed through Camino Don Tomas. Any students walking will also use the sidewalks on the north side of campus.

Good afternoon, BPS Families -
As we move deeper into the summer months, Bernalillo Public Schools is hard at work in getting ready for the upcoming school year. We have a few major projects that will be taking place in the next two months to improve the physical environment of our schools. In addition, as I have mentioned before, the district has been working with many stakeholders on the development of a strategic plan that will provide a framework on how we will approach the next three to five years. As part of this strategic plan, we have been in the midst of a restructuring of the leadership of the district, including all of our school sites. The restructuring is almost complete, and we are excited to begin the hard but exciting work ahead.
In an effort to keep you informed about the strategic plan and the development of leadership, BPS will be hosting a virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, June 8 at 6PM. This will be the first of many meetings to provide information and updates to the community as we finalize the strategic plan, but then moving forward, as we report out to you about our progress. It is important that we set clear goals, with strategic levers that have understandable metrics. It is even more important that we keep you, our community, apprised of where we stand with those goals.

There are tons of different session options (see attached flyer) including:
