Welcome to the Cochiti Elementary and Middle School Library where 

Readers are Leaders!

Cochiti elementary students attend library once a week.  During library class, students are able to check out books that are in their Accelerated Reader range.

All Cochiti School students participate in Accelerated Reader.  The library has a wide range of AR books which are all leveled and color coded to make it easier for students to find books at their own level. Students are welcome to come into the library to find a new AR book once they have quizzed on their previous book.

0.1-0.9 light purple

1.0-1.9 light green

2.0-2.9 dark pink

3.0-3.9 orange

4.0-4.9 blue

5.0-5.9 green

6.0-6.9 red

7.0-7.9 purple

8.0-8.9 brown

Books in the library are due one week after they are checked out.  If a book gets lost or damaged, a notice will go out to parents.  All payments made for lost or damaged books are made to the office staff.
