About Bernalillo Elementary School
Welcome to Bernalillo Elementary School. BES is uniquely located along the beautiful Rio Grande River and proudly serves the diverse communities of Bernalillo, Placitas, San Felipe, Algodones, Sandia, Santa Ana & Santo Domingo. Our enrollment is about 300 students and serves grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. School hours are 8:30-3:30 but we request students are NOT dropped off before 8:15. BES is a Title 1 school and all students receive free breakfast and lunch. We take pride in our cultural diversity and offer a Dual Language Program to support students in bilingual education. BES has the most profound and dedicated teachers that support students academically, socially, and emotionally. Every teacher utilizes Class Dojo to maintain communication with parents and families. We look forward to your input and collaboration as we strive to create life-long learners.
